So while checking my friends list using the VAC ban checker script I noticed that people who have a VAC ban that's like 3000 days old don't have it show up on their profile anymore. After further testing it seems that the limit after which the VAC ban doesn't show up on player profiles anymore is around 2600 days (one of my friends with a 2550 days old VAC ban still has it show up on the profile but another with a 2611 days old VAC ban doesn't).
Is this a bug or intended? Anyone else noticed this?
Here's Happy's (CS GO pro player) steam profile as an example https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197978241352
As some of you might know he has a very old VAC ban for 1.6 which doesn't show up anymore. The ban is still active though as can be verified by using the Steam API
EDIT: Okay so it seems to be that VAC bans older than 7 years (2556 days) don't show up on the steam profile anymore (even if you have multiple VAC bans as long as 'DaysSinceLastBan' is higher than 2556 days the bans don't show up on your profile anymore)
Here's a profile with a 2552 days old ban: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198010848983 (Steam API)
Here's another with a 2558 days old ban: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198014781192 (Steam API)
This change seems to have happened between 10 and 24 hours ago.
EDIT2: The account owner can still see the ban while logged in https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/5ub0jo/vac_bans_older_than_2600_days_stopped_showing_up/ddsx412/

I tried to message This in private to Viality_valve but he hasnt responded, and the official CyberCafe Forums are closed, so I ask here.
What to do with customers abandoning matches and thus assigning a cooldown on the Valve cybercafe Program account, causing grief for other customers.
The customers are uniquely identified at each computer using a 125khz EM4102 tag (same one that is used to open doors in high security Buildings) that is then charged with Money, so its possible to identify the customer incase it would be possible to assign the ban to a 'customer ID' instead of cybercafe account.
Also Another question: If the customer installs some suspicious script that get flagged by the 'untrusted account banning system', 'VAC' or 'Overwatch', will it be possible to appeal such ban then?
The Cybercafe run with mandatory reboot between each customer, so if customer A runs a cheat, its completely impossible that this cheat will affect customer B, since the computer have a mandatory reboot between each customer, and then Everything in RAM cache (ewfmgr) is cleaned, thus returning the PC to a 'pristine' state. (and the OS is loaded from a read-only iSCSI target so its absolutely impossible for a customer to modify the 'gold master image' that is loaded each boot)
Its not possible to run as non-admin, since other games are being provided which require administrator rights, and I dont like the 'solution' of that a employee should need to go to the customer and type the administrator password for the customer each time he want to launch a admin-requiring game.
Thus we have selected a solution with 'allow the customer to do whatever he want on the computer, and then restore the computer each reboot.'
